Celebrating 200 years of independence

2021 marks the 200 year celebration since 25 March 1821 and the start of the revolution for Greece’s Independence. To honour our heroes from 1821, we will be running several initiatives as a build-up to the 25 March 2021.

The Hellenic Federation of SA is working on an exciting initiative for this year's 25 March celebrations.

We’re making a Giant Greek Flag to commemorate 200 years from the start of the Greek Revolution!

You can add your company name, or your family name to the list of people that will be part of this record-breaking effort, and be part of the fabric that makes up our community!

 

As our primary fund-raiser for 2021, all profits will go to a fund to sustain the Hellenic Federation for years to come.

The flag will be used in future years as an events tent cover, so as not to waste on the materials.
